A mix of GDW members and non-members took part in tonight’s Try-a-Time Trial on a sunny but windy Milton on Stour 6 mile course.
James Francis (13) set off first and posted a very respectable time of 22:16. David Bryant and Nick Hall showed that you don’t need a super aero TT bike to ride in a club TT, taking part on a knobbly tyred MTB and a shopper respectively. Nick didn’t keep his tutu on though!
It was fantastic to see Ellie Cooper, Amelia Johnson and Roanna Warren take part. Ellie was the fastest (17:58) and fourth overall.
Rich White was quickest overall (17:13), just one second ahead of Adam Baker (17:14) and Mark Harvey (17:42).
Next week is on the Stour Provost 10 mile course. Sign on at Stour Provost Community School at 6.30 pm with the first rider starting at 7.00 pm. GDW Members £4-00, Non-Memebers £5-00). Hopefully some of those who took part for the first time will be back again next week!
