The 2013 GDW time trial season got underway on Wednesday night, with plenty of regulars joined by some new faces as well. The times were some way off of most riders’ personal bests, a very strong East wind making the middle section of the course slow going and hard work.
Paul Hopkins set a time of 25.00 to win, 38 seconds ahead of Vince Hounsome with Jay Hookins and Kim Little close behind. Neil Mackinnon was fifth overall and first of the five junior riders.
We had lots of volunteers out on the evening doing the timing and marshalling, thanks to everyone who helped.
