Seven Wheelers travelled over to Ilton to compete in round 5 of Tour 2000 Circuits. Sam Eades once again found form finishing 2nd in the ever competitive under 14’s cat. but is still searching for the ever elusive win. Meanwhile Mike Smith and Nigel Eades both looked set for the points with top 10 finishes, however Nigel saw it best to ‘sit up’ avoiding moving to 3rd cat. Mike finished 5th to get his first points with Alan Hunt, Will Edwards and John Holman finishing comfortably in the bunch. Charles Rees failed to find any luck in the 3rd Cat race finishing just inside the top twenty despite a late attack that saw him move through the field and give a good lead out to everyone on his wheel…
