With days overtaking nights, it is offically Spring! After some overnight rain, hopefully Saturday morning will be dry and there may even be a little sunshine, with a southerly breeze.

The White and Blue routes head through Sturminster to Hazelbury Bryan, Ansty and over Bulbarrow towards Blandford. The White route passes through the grounds of Bryanston to return through Child Okeford, Manston and Todber.

The Blue route goes through Blandford and up to Ashley Wood before dropping into the Tarrant Valley, returning via Iwerne Minster, Hartgrove and Stour Row.

The Pink route takes a longer route to Bulbarrow via Marnhull, Lydlinch and Mappowder, and then goes through Blandford and Langton Long to join the Tarrant Valley at The True Lovers Knot before joining the Blue route at Tarrant Rushton.

Meet at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials, particularly sufficient liquid refreshement.

The routes all finish at The Old Brewery Cafe in Gillingham where you can stop for coffee, cake or lunch.

There is nothing to stop a group splitting into a ‘light’ and a ‘dark’ group, and a slower group can take on a longer route or a faster group ride a shorter route. All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability!

Pink Route: 97.6 kms, 1,006 m elevation – est speed 28 kmh+ / 17.5 mph +

Blue Route: 84.9 kms, 925 m elevation – est speed 24 kmh / 15 mph

White Route: 71.3 kms, 750 m elevation – est speed 20 kmh / 12 mph
