This Saturday’s Pink and Blue routes head to Somerton, for those wanting mid ride coffee and cake the Buttercross Tearooms are open in the Market Square, Somerton. The White route heads to Sparkford with an option for coffee and cake stop at the Motor Museum in Sparkford.
At the moment the forecasts I’ve seen show it to be dry so fingers crossed it stays this way.
Meet at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials, particularly sufficient liquid refreshments.
Pink Route: 61 miles (98km), 2757 ft elevation – est speed 17 – 19 mph
Blue Route: 55 miles (88 km), 2277 ft elevation – est speed 14.5 to 16 mph
White Route: 36 miles (59km), 2038 ft elevation – est speed 12.5 – 13.5 mph
