Newnham Park in Plymouth hosted the final round of this years’s championship. The riders had good weather for this event, held on a tight, twisty, technical course.
Paul Hopkins (riding for Merida) wrapped up the National Vets title for a second successive season following his fifth race win from five starts this year. Paul won the hour and half race by two minutes. Andy Parsons (Offcamber) was 14th, about 8 and a half minutes behind Paul, with Nigel Brown about 15 minutes behind in 21st.
Kim Little was really pleased with his 11th place finish in the Masters race while Emma Bradley (WXC) continued her crash-filled season with another fall on her way to 11th in the Elite women’s race, which was won by GB rider Annie Last.
