Kim Little raced up Mere Hollow to yet another GDW hillclimb win last night, beating James Chant by 25 seconds. Everyone found the going even harder than normal, with cold temperatures and a strong headwind along the route which was particularly hard over the final section to the finish.
Third and fourth went to Leith and Andrew Henderson from Westbury Wheelers while Nigel Brown’s bike slipped its chain near the end.
Liam Teesdale headed the junior riders, beating Barney Cox and Rowan Birch. James Howell was fourth but had stopped early on the hill by some spectators thinking they were at the finish line.
