*UPDATE* – The trip is now a week later due to availability issues at the Duva Hotel so now 8th to 15 May
Now we’ve got Christmas out of the way, its time to start thinking about going to in Mallorca in 2022 and cycling in the sun. The dates that we will go this year is the first week of May so the core dates will be May 1st – 8th. The Mallorca 312 Sportive is on Sat 30th April so those that want to do this could go for a few extra days. I’m probably going to go from Thurs 28th April to Sun 8th May and do a true Mallorca 312 Paddy Dunne style round the Island. If you are interested in doing the Mallorca 312 Sportive, there are 3 different distances to choose from, 167, 225 or 312 km.
I’m proposing the Duva hotel at Porto Pollensa again, the group rate for April is 44 euros per person half board sharing a twin bedded apartment, 69 euros for sole occupancy. It may be a few euros more for May so will confirm that later.
There are a number of Bike Hire companies within walking distance of the Duva Hotel; Procycle Hire, 2GoCycling, Pinarello Experience, Pollensa Cycling, Rent March. Prices vary according to what bike you have.
Easyjet, Ryanair and also Jet2 have all quite reasonably priced flights from Bristol
So if you’d like to go, you need to book your own flight and bike hire, I’ll co-ordinate the accommodation bookings so will need a £70 deposit from you.
