An enjoyable morning was spent on the Siberian Pine and high banks of the Newport Velodrome. What a pleasure to modify our cycling and handling skills in such a great arena.
Eight of us were reminded of how to ride a fixed wheel no brake variety of bike and what the required etiquette was. We were quick learners and were soon having to follow the leader at speed over all sections of the circuit. The day finished where we were charged with breaking of the front of the group and catching back on the back of the next group. Tough, tough, tough.
