A grey but warm and humid evening saw 6 pairs of riders compete on the 10 mile Stour Provost course. Sam Thompson and Maxwell Randles-Hall set the benchmark with a time of 21:12. Only 9 seconds then separated 2nd to 4th places, with Innes Wright and Roger Biles posting a time of 23:54, just ahead of James Little and Mark Harvey (road bikes) in 23:57 and Vince Hounsome and Gary Francis in 24:03. Mike Smith and Pete Humphreys would have won had a handicap based on combined age been in place whilst Mark Jacobs helped Reuben Beavis set a pb for the course!
