There are a couple of early opportunities for the speedier riders among you to get some race miles in – the Perf’s Pedal race is on February 10th this year, it’s open to E/1/2/3 cat riders, entry closes on Jan 21st, more details here.
Also, this year’s Severn Bridge road race at Olveston will have a separate 3rd cat event as well as the E/1/2/3 race. More details on the Bristol RC website or here.
The winter crit series run by the Army RC at Ludgershall starts in Jan 12th. This year there will be a separate 4th cat race each week followed by a E/1/2/3 race which should help to create smaller fields on the tight circuit. Frome DW have their Open 10 mile time trial on Feb 17th, you need to pre-enter by Feb 5th, details will be on the ‘Events Calendar’ page once the CTT Handbooks have arrived.
The next GDW mountain bike race is on January 20th at Alfred’s Tower woods as always, Offcamber have the next in their series of mtb race sat Inside Park near Blandford on Jan 13th.
The GDW 50 mile reliability ride will take place on Jan 27th weather permitting, more info to follow soon
