After last Saturday’s deluge, a dry day with light winds is forecast for Saturday. Three routes have again been plotting this week. All routes head to Semley and Fovant. The Pink and Blue routes head over Fovant Down and on to 6d Handley where the Blues turn for home. The Pinks head to Cranborne and the Gussages before heading for home.
The White Route avoid Fovant Down, heading back to Tisbury and down to Ansty on their way back.
Meet at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials. All rides finish at the cafe for coffee, cake and a catch up.
Pink Route: 89.8kms, 940 m elevation – est speed 28 kmh / 17.5 mph +
Blue Route: 73.3 km, 807 m elevation – est speed 24 kmh / 15 mph
White Route: 61.5 km, 664 m elevation – est speed 20 kmh / 12 mph
All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability! There is obviously nothing stopping a faster group doing a shorter route or a slower group doing a longer route if they wish!
If you have ridden more than a couple of times with us, we do expect you to become a member of the club.
For those who have issues downloading their routes, here’s the guide for a Garmin device and here’s the guide for a Wahoo device.
