Saturday looks like being a pleasant dry day, though chilly to start. As usual there are three routes this week. All the routes head over Dorset’s mini alpine climb of Zig Zag and onto 6d Handley. The White route then turns north to Bowerchalke returning along the Chalke Valley and through the Donheads.
The Blues and Pinks continue to Cranborne with the Blues returning via Martin to Bowerchalke before chasing the Whites home. The Pinks continue to Rockbourne and Coombe Bissett, returing via Alvidiston, Ansty and Semley.
The rides end at the Old Brewery Cafe and Kitchen for coffee, cake, or the White Group’s favourite big late breakfast / brunch.
Meet at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials, particularly sufficient liquid refreshement.
There is nothing to stop a group splitting into a ‘light’ and a ‘dark’ group, and a slower group can take on a longer route or a faster group ride a shorter route. All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability!
