Saturday looks to be cloudy but dry with very light winds. All routes will head south. The White Route heads to Kings Stage and Duntish, and onto Mappowder and Ansty before heading for home over Bulbarrow. The Blue and Pink Routes continue down the Piddle Valley towards Puddletown, where the Blues head back via Ansty and Bulbarrow, whilst the Pinks head for Dewlish, Milton Abbas and Bulbarrow.
Meet at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials. Riders can then choose whether to finish at The Feed Station or push on to Cafe Corsa, for coffee, cake and a catch up.
Pink Route: 89.4 kms, 996 m elevation – est speed 28 kmh / 17.5 mph +
Blue Route: 80.5 km, 849 m elevation – est speed 24 kmh / 15 mph
White Route: 65.2 km,703 m elevation – est speed 20 kmh / 12 mph
All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability! There is obviously nothing stopping a faster group doing a shorter route or a slower group doing a longer route if they wish!
