Saturday Rides CANCELLED
For the first Sat in April all routes head West-sh , with the pink and blue/white routes heading out to Sparkford via Langham Lane, Buckhorn Weston, Horsington and South Cadbury. The pink route carries on west through Queen Camel and Podimore, then north to Charlton Mackrell returning to Gill via North Barrow where the blue/whites join up and we all head back through Wincanton and Bourton. The rides end at the Old Brewery Cafe for post ride banter and coffee
At the time of posting not sure what the weather is doing, we may be lucky and the rain may miss us, but at least there won’t be a frost, dress appropriately for the conditions and ideally have mudguards too.
Meet at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials, particularly sufficient liquid refreshment. All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability!
Pink Route 50 mls 80 km – approx speed 17 – 19 mph
Blue Route 39.5 mls 63.5 km – approx speed 14.5 to 16 mph
White Route 39.5 mls 63.5 km – approx speed 12.5 to 13.5 mph
