Saturday morning is looking dry with some sunshine and moderate southerly winds, so this week we are heading south to catch that tailwind home. All routes head out via Stour Row and Child Okeford, where the White peals off to head to Ibberton and across to Hazelbury Bryan. The Pink and Blue carry on towards Blandford, bypassing the town through Bryanston School. From here its up the hill to Milton Abbas, where the Blue peals off to Hilton. The Pink then carries on down to Tolpuddle and Puddletown before rejoining the Blues at Hilton and then the Whites at Hazelbury.
All routes then return via Sturminster and Marnhull, to finish with a meet up for coffee and cake at Cafe Corsa.
Meet at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials.
The Blue Group have recently often split into a ‘light’ and a ‘dark’ blue group, and there is nothing stopping other groups doing the same. All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability! We are also looking at offering some 2 hour weekend rides in the next few weeks for those of you who are time crunched and can’t get out for a whole morning.

Blue Route: 80.6 kms, 888 m elevation – est speed 24 kmh / 15 mph
White Route: 61.3 kms, 566 m elevation – est speed 20 kmh / 12 mph
