Saturday looks to be another dry day with light winds. There are three routes again this week. All routes head south with the Pink and Blue routes going over Okeford Beacon and onto Bere Regis. The Blue route then turns for home whilst the Pink route continues to Clouds Hill. Both routes head back via Hazelbury Bryan and Sturminster.
The White Route sneaks through the grounds of Bryanston School before heading over Bulbarrow and back broadly the same way as the other routes via Hazelbury and Stur.
Meet at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials. All rides finish at the cafe for coffee, cake and a catch up.
Pink Route: 92.0kms, 947 m elevation – est speed 28 kmh / 17.5 mph +
Blue Route: 80.8 km, 808 m elevation – est speed 24 kmh / 15 mph
White Route: 67,2 km, 772 m elevation – est speed 20 kmh / 12 mph
All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability! There is obviously nothing stopping a faster group doing a shorter route or a slower group doing a longer route if they wish!
If you have ridden more than a couple of times with us, we do expect you to become a member of the club.
For those who have issues downloading their routes, here’s the guide for a Garmin device and here’s the guide for a Wahoo device.
