The weekend again looks very Autumnal as we move into August and at the moment there are showers forecast so fingers crossed we don’t get too wet, the wind is SW so all routes head west out through Buckhorn Weston to South Cadbury, the white route then heads to Sandford Orcas. The Blue and Pink routes continue to Queen Camel and Marston Magna. The Blue route then heads for Sherborne and the Pink route continues on round the back of Yeovil through to Bradford Abbas and then to Sherborne and joins the Blue route back to Gillingham via Milborne Port and Templecombe. As the Filling station cafe is closed on Sat there is an optional cafe stop for the Pink group at the Village Cafe in East Coker , the Blue Group cafe stop is Olivers in Sherborne.
As usual meet at the Wheels Car Park in Station Road, Gillingham at 9.00 am. Please ensure you download the route to your GPS device so you don’t end up going the wrong way and remember your ride essentials.
