23 riders sped round the Bruton course on a hot night on Wednesday, with Kim Little coming out on top in 46.32. Vince Hounsome was a little slower than usual, struggling with the after effects of a tough triathlon the previous weekend, but Vince was still second. Alex Hookins was third while debutant Tristram More-Molyneux rode well for fourth.
There were some good performances from the juniors, with Rowan Birch setting a pb time to take his second win in a row. Connor Geddes was second with another pb while his brother James made it a hat trick of pbs in third.
Jane Pritchard was quickest of the women riders for the thrid week in a row, with second placed Jenny Lucas and third placed Sarah Wheeler completing the course under an hour.
