Paul Hopkins won again this evening, completing the course in an excellent 46.49 to give him his fourth straight victory.  Andy Hopkins was second, improving by a massive three minutes over his time from two weeks ago on this course.  Vince Hounsome was third and championship leader Simon Barfoot fourth.  Other notable results were Richard Hansford, who is getting quicker every week, Severn RC rider Simon Rouse’s 50.08 was four minutes faster than his time at our Open event, and Will Edwards getting round under the hour at his first attempt on this route and running with a junior gear restriction.
