Nigel Brown recently took part in this year’s Brecon Beast off road marathon event. This involved riding 87 kms of the Brecon Beacons National Park over some tough trails, some of which are the highest tracks in Southern Britain. This year’s event was held in terrible weather making the course even harder than normal.
Nigel had an eventful ride, with two heavy crashes, one of which left him battered and bruised and with a cracked helmet after crashing on a footbridge. He managed to continue though and did really well to finish as second Vet and seventh overall with a time of 4 hours 21.
