Four Gillingham riders pitted themselves against the challenging Bath Hardriders course. The testing Frome – Maiden Bradley – Norton Ferris – Mere – Longbridge Deveril – Maiden Bradley course tackles two 4th category climbs and some fast open sections. Sunny skies and strong winds made for a difficult day. Charles Rees was first club rider home in 10th position, clocking 1.02.40 for 10th place. Chris Mullet rode an outstanding race to post 1.11.02 (39th) – all those miles in Majorca paying off!!! James Foster finished in 1:13:45 (49th) and Ian Messider 1:21:10 (56th).
