The forecast for Saturday looks to be pretty cold but don’t think there will be a frost. There will be a North Easterly wind (Beast from the East) so all routes head east and north. There appears to also be a risk of some precipitation early on, so if you do venture out wrap up warm and have a rain jacket handy.
The Pink and Blue routes head east through Tisbury and Dinton. The Whites also go to Dinton but via East Knoyle, The Blues and Whites then turn off to Wylye while the Pinks carry on to Wilton and then head to Wylye via Great Wishford and the Langfords. All routes then head to Sutton Veny through Boyton where there is an optional Cafe stop at Ginnys cafe (also known as the Ginger Piggery.
After refueling at Ginnys, the Whites head back to Gillingham via the Deverills and Mere Down, The Blues and Pinks head back via Maiden Bradley Kilmngton and Bourton.
Meet at 9.30 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials, particularly sufficient liquid refreshments.
