Possibly the warmest evening of the summer saw a baker’s dozen riders tackle the 10 mile Sturminster Newton course. Sam Thompson (23:15) posted the fastest time of the evening just 4 seconds ahead of Shawn Gray (23:19) and Kelvin Hatch (23:47).
Mike Sleeman (25:14) continues to dominate the road bike class ahead of Mark Harvey.
Mike retakes the lead in hte overall championship ahead of Vince Hounsome and Shawn Gray.
Next Wednesday is a the final 19 miler on the Bruton course. Hopefully there will be more riders than helpers this time! Sign on at 6.30 (at the Godminster cheese shopl) with the first rider off at 7.00 pm.
