Sadly there were at least as many helpers as riders this week on the Bruton 19 mile course. Just three riders took to the start with Vince Hounsome (52:37) fastest ahead of Mark Jacobs and Chris Mullett.
Vince takes the lead in the championship as a result.
Next Wednesday is a 10 miler on the Sturminster Newton course. The top dressing through Marnhull should have settled down by then.. Sign on at 6.30 (at the Olives et al) with the first rider off at 7.00 pm.
