We have managed to secure the use of the Newport Velodrome (more properly known as the Geraint Thomas National Velodrome of Wales) for the above period. We will be led by the ever-popular Jason Streather.
No track experience is required, but we know from previous GDW trips that novices quickly get the hang of the bikes and the banking. This link gives more information about riding on the track.
The Club will pay for the velodrome hire and for Jason Streather. Those going just need to pay for the hire of a track bike (£16.20, payable on the day to the velodrome), and to get yourselves there (or car-share).
