With roadworks (to fix the flooding at the bottom of Cox Hill), we saw another course change this week, this time to the 10 mile Gillingham course. A wet and miserable evening only tempted 4 riders to the start, so we had more helpers than riders! Alastair Luxford (24:41) was fastest, ahead of Mark Jacobs (25:41), Vince Hounsome and Pete Humphreys.
Mark Jacobs leads the overall championship, and James Howell leads the road bike category as we enter the end of the season run-in.
The Stour Provost 21 mile course is scheduled for next week, but please check the website and social media for confirmation later in the week. Sign on will be at 6.30 pm and the first rider will start at 7.00 pm.
