This week saw the first of the longer TTs, with the use of the 21 mile Stour Provost for only the second time. Finally a south westerly wind and a warm evening saw 12 riders take part. Three riders beat last year’s fastest time. Alastair Luxford (46:31) continued his excellent form finishing ahead of Shawn Gray (48:58) and Rich White (51:05). Mark Harvey (55:57) was quickest on a road bike.
A huge thank you to Chris Madel and Matt Hywel-Davies for stepping into the time-keeper roles for the very first time, aided by Roger Limerick. Also thank you to Roger Biles and Mary Emerson-Read for marshalling.
The Gillingham 10 course is scheduled for next week. However, given the way the season has gone so far, please check the website and social media for confirmation later in the week. Sign on will be at 6.30 pm and the first rider will start at 7.00 pm. We are also again short of helpers so please let Vince or James know if you can help!
