A mix of experienced and inexperienced time trialists entered our annual event which aims to encourage people to give the ‘race of truth’ a go. The event does not form part of the club championship.
On a warm, sunny but breezy evening, Alastair Luxford was fastest (14:52) ahead of Shawn Gray (15:28) and Mark Jacobs (16:48). Chris Giles was fastest on a road bike (16:52).
Of the novices, Kieran Harvey led the way (19:15) ahead of Michael Francis (19:28). Hopefully we’ll see both at future events!
