As per previous years Vincent Hounsome is planning his usual ride to Swanage (but no ferry ) over the Xmas break – its weather dependent and the provisional date is Tues 27th Dec with a reserve of the 28th. We’ll probably stop for lunch at Swanage or Wareham a bit further on.
The pace will be in the region of 16-17 mph, heading out via East Stour, Okeford Fitzpaine, Winterbourne Stickland, Bere Regis and Corfe, back via Wareham, Holton Heath , Sturminster Marshall – approx 90 miles. Departing from Wheels at 9am sharp, bring lights in case the light fades.
