After the storms a breezy (north easterly) but warm evening meant a tough run from Manston to Coles Lane. Sam Thompson learning from his routing error last week posted the fastest time (22:15). Just 28 seconds separated the next four riders, with Adam Baker (24:27) taking 50 points in the Championship, ahead of Vince Hounsome (25:44), Innes Wright (24:50) and Gary Francis (24:55). Angie Barlow was fastest lady rider.
Adam Baker extended his lead in both the open and non-aero categories to 20 points ahead of Nigel Brown whilst Vince leads Gary by 2 points in the battle for third. Angie Barlow now has a lead of 112 points in the Ladies Championship. Adam retains the lead in the non-aero category. There are three scoring rounds remaining, all on the 6 mile Milton on Stour course.
Next week is the annual 2 Up TT scheduled for the Stour Provost 10 mile course. Please note the earlier sign on at 6.00 pm, with pair off at 6.30 pm. So you have a week to find your similarly paced riding partner!
