Hot, hot Hot! So there’s a trip to the coast for those with more time, down to Lulworth Cove where there will be a refreshment stop. On the return leg, the shop at Hazelbury Bryan is open in the afternoon, and has tables outside, and then there’s also Sturminster if further refreshemnts are needed. An alternative shorter route has also been planned that heads to Blandford, Morden and Bere Regis and then follows the same path back to Gill as the Lulworth ride. Finally there is a White Group route that heads to Blandford and returns via the Tarrant valley and Iwerne Minster.
Those planning on heading to Lulworth, please arrive at Wheels in time for a prompt 9.00 am departure. The other groups will meet as usual at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials, particularly sufficient liquid refreshement.
The Lulworth ride may split into more than one group dependent on ability. There is nothing stopping other groups doing the same, or for a slower group to do a longer route or a faster group to do a shorter route. All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability!
