Another dry Saturday is forecast with a south westerly breeze. We seem to be moving anti-clockwise with the route directions at the moment as this week’s routes head south via Sturminster to Mappowder where the White route turns south-east to Ansty and Bulbarrow. The Blue and Pink routes continue to Piddletrenthide and on towards Puddletown where they split, with the Blues returning via Dewlish, Bingham’s Melcombe and Melcombe Bingham to Ansty and Bulbarrow. The Pink route continues through Puddletown to Cloud’s Hill before turning north for home, rejoining the other routes at Bulbarrow. There is a diversion to the normal route home at Todber where the road is due to be ruined with top dressing on Friday. All routes finish at Cafe Corsa for a coffee and catch up.
Meet at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials.
The Blue Group have recently often split into a ‘light’ and a ‘dark’ blue group, and there is nothing stopping other groups doing the same. All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability!
