The 2022 Time Trial Series kicked off on the Milton on Stour 6 mile course and saw 15 riders take to the start line on a cool but relatively still evening. Edd Hunt and Greg Broadbent were competing in their first GDW TTs having spent the winter months racing the team TT events on Zwift.
Nick Bunyard was quickest on the night (15:42) with Edd putting the winter training to great effect coming home in second, and fastest non-aero rider (16:36). Nigel Brown was third, again a non-aero rider (16:46). Gary Francis, in his first TT as an aero rider came fourth (17:02).
Angie Barlow (20:00) was fastest lady ahead of Kate Mustill (20:56) who was on her new speed machine ‘Cyril’.
Next week’s event is again on the Milton on Stour course with a slightly later time of 6.00 pm sign on, and first rider off at 6.30 pm, so spread the word!
