Eight pairs took to the start line in Sturminster Newton on the return of the 2-Up Time Trial last held in 2019. A rare appearance from both Paul Hopkins and Jeremy Brougham saw them post the fastest time (23:07) just over a minute ahead of Roger Biles and Ian Cardy, with Nigel Brown and Vince Hounsome rounding out the podium.
Of the mixed pairs, Dave and Angie Barlow held off Mike Smith and Olive Holiday, with Gary Francis and Angela Jamieson in third.
Next week sees the first of three six mile events on the Milton on Stour course to round off the season. Sign on will be at the earlier time of 6.00 pm with the first rider off at 6.30 pm.
