A baking hot and still evening saw 16 rides tackle the Gillingham 10 mile course. An ill fitting new rear wheel slowed Shawn Gray down, but not sufficiently for him to be deprived of the fastest time. Innes Wright and Troy Woolacott put in excellent performances for second and third, whilst Mike Potter was the fastest non-aero rider. Angie Barlow led the ladies home ahead of Lisa Dunne and Kate Mustill.
Shawn has a commanding lead in the Championship but there is a good fight for the podium between 5 riders.
Next week is a return to the Sturminster Newton course (Lisa, you turn at the church, not the house beforehand!!).
