A warm September evening saw the 2020 Time Trial Series draw to a close with 24 riders taking to the start line, facing a headwind on the way to Mere. Most riders recorded slightly slower times than last week but Shawn Gray improved on his course record from last week by a further 5 seconds to post a time of 14:39.
Guest rider James Brown just failed to break the 15 minute mark, riding a road bike, and Jeremy Brougham finished third.
For the ladies, Rosie Brown just beat Angie Barlow by 2 seconds.
Finally, a massive thanks to the volunteers who make these events possible, namely Vince, Marlene, Roger, James, Geoff, Vic, Hank, Mary and Mark.

There may be a further event next Wednesday depending upon the guidance issued by Cycling Time Trials and British Cycling following the Covid announcement from HM Government regarding restricted group sizes.
Hopefully we will see plenty of you doing battle on Bulbarrow on Saturday.
