Much to his relief, Chris Mullett left Yeovil Hospital at the weekend and is back home with his leg pinned and plated. He now has the challenge of coordinating crutches and making sure he’s fit enough for a trip to the French Alps to watch the Tour on July 18th. Get well soon Chris!
Cheltenham and County CC held the latest round of the WTTA Hardrider Championship on Sunday. The 24 mile course had plenty of floods on it during the night and although these cleared in time for the event the roads were left very gravelly, leading to several punctures and some scary descents. James Chant and Simon Rouse finished in formation, James in 18th with 1.05.04 knocking two minutes from his previous course best despite being on the brakes on the quick fast downhill bits. Simon was 19th with 1.06.37.
