Visiting rider Paul Caton of Welwyn Wheelers set the quickest time tonight, winning with a 23.18. Times were pretty good, a strong tailwind through the middle section helping a lot. Kim Little was second, just ahead of Simon Barfoot (who had forgotten his cycling shoes) and Vince Hounsome (whose aerobar broke just after the halfway point).
Jenny Lucas set her fastest ever 10- mile time with 28.45 while 10 years old Toby Easby did 38.40 in his first tt.
