It was a much harder second tt of the season compared to last week’s opening round, the rain and wind combining to slow most riders down by more than a minute. There were one or two notable exceptions to this, with Nigel Brown going really well and taking his first tt win with a time of 23.41, just three seconds down on last week.  James Gray was second, puting his new tt bike to good use with 24.10.  Charles Rees went for the road bike option to take third.  Jay Hookins put in a good ride to take fourth, over half a minute quicker than last week.
Liz Hutson was the fastest lady rider with 27.39, nearly two minutes ahead of Jane Pritchard with Jenny Lucas third and newcomer Kit Connolly in fourth.
Josh Day was the clear winner of the junior riders, his time of 25.45 saw him finish well ahead of Ollie Feltham and Barney Cox.
