Liz Hutson was the fastest lady rider with 27.39, nearly two minutes ahead of Jane Pritchard with Jenny Lucas third and newcomer Kit Connolly in fourth.
Josh Day was the clear winner of the junior riders, his time of 25.45 saw him finish well ahead of Ollie Feltham and Barney Cox.

In other events, Simon Rouse and James Chant travelled up to Worcestershire to take part in Warwickshire RC’s 28 mile hilly time trial. Up against a top quality field, Simon did well to cover the 28 miles in 1 hour 11.26 for 18th while James was very pleased to be just 1 minute 9 seconds behind Simon in 24th. Overall winner was James Wall (Team Echelon-Rotor) in 1.01.21.
John Phillips was competing in Chippenham Wheelers’ 10 mile tt, again on a tough hilly course, this time near Calne in Wiltshire. John finished in 10th place with 29.36.
At tonight’s Yeovil CC 5 mile tt, Simon Barfoot was the quickest GDW rider present, recording 11.41 for fourth place. Simon Rouse fnished on 12.13, James Chant with 12.21 and Chris Mullett 13.47.
