Alan Smith had a very early morning last weekend to get to the Clevedon RC 25 mile tt for a 07.18 start. The event was held on the U21 course near Bridgwater and his time of 1.10.58 gave him 29th place.
Round 8 of the WTTA Hardrider series saw Sarah Roberts slip to second in the ladies’ championship behind Bath CC’s Aileen Brown. Sarah covered the tough 24 mile route in 1.30.13 to leave her one place behind Aileen who now has a 10 point advantage over Sarah with five rounds to go. James Chant was 29th , finishing in a time of 1.10.58.
At Bath CC’s Open TT, held on the fast Cricklade/A419 roads, Simon Barfoot set a new PB for a 10 mile time trial, finishing in 27th with an excellent time of 21.27 – well done! Mick St Leger (VC St Raphael) was the winner with 19.45.
