Thursday 30th April saw 4 Gillingham Wheelers descend on a gloomy Merryfield airfield, Ilton for the first race in the 7 race evening series organised by the Team Tor  2000 club.  First off was Sam Eades in the U14 event, who in his debut race finished an excellent second and collected 2 points.  In the Regional C event the wheelers were represented by the trio of John Holman,  Mike Smith and Nigel Eades.  Mike put in a tremendous effort to be well placed in the prime and gain 5 points, at the end Nigel finished strongly in the group closely followed by John with Mike just behind.  Full results & points here
