Just a reminder that we will be giving the new version of the usual Gillingham tt course a trial tomorrow evening. We will be meeting as normal at the library car park, please sign in by 1845.
The new start will be at the end of the footpath next to the Neal’s Yard factory, just past the Peacemarsh roundabout.
From there, follow the road to Mere, turn left, go under the A303, turn left, follow through Zeals and all the way through Bourton – DO NOT turn left at the war memorial as in previous years.
Follow the road to the Tinkers’ Hill/A303 interchange, turn left, under the A303, turn right for Gillingham
Follow the road to the new finish which will be at the no through lane on the right just before you get to the lane to the North Dorset rugby club.
Please take extra care and check for traffic when negotiating the turn at Mere and the new turn at Tinkers’ Hill.
Remember, no u turns at the finish, make your way back to the HQ.
If you are going to use the footpath at the start to warm up on please ride carefully, there are usually lots of pedestrians along here.
