A late course change (for reasons that will become aparent in time) meant a switch to the Sturminster Newton 10 mile course on a dry but cool evening. A decent field of 14 took to the start line. Alastair Luxford (22:11) posted the fastest time ahead of Shawn Gray (22:59) and Kelvin Hatch (23:07).
Michael Sleeman (25:29) maintained his perfect record in the road bike category ahead of Mark Harvey and Pete Humphreys.
Michael also leads the overall standings in both the Open and Road Bike categories with 315 points, ahead of Vince Hounsome (296) and Kelvin Hatch (283), but that could (and probably will) change as more riders complete more rounds.
Round 9 is scheduled for the Gillingham 10 course. Sign on at 6.30 (at the Bubl Shop in Gillingham) with the first rider off at 7.00 pm.
