Last minute works by Wessex Water resulted in a shortened course with the start moving to Hinton St Mary. A cool evening saw 12 riders take to the start line.
Alastair Luxford was fastest (20:51). Edd Hunt was second and fastest on a road bike (22:54) just ahead of Mark Jacobs (23:04). Angie Barlow making her season debut was fastest lady.
Round 6 takes place next Wednesday, on the Stour Provost course. Sign on is at 6.30 pm with the first rider off at 7.00 pm.
We do need two volunteers to act as marshalls (by the Plough at Manston, and the end of Coles Lane).
