For once an unenforced course change this week! A switch to the Sturminster Newton course as it has barely been used this year. A warm evening with almost no wind too! Sam Thompson (23:43) finished 11 seconds ahead of Rich White (23:54) with Kelvin Hatch (24:52) third. Angela Jamieson was fastest lady and Mark Harvey quickest on a road bike.
Another position shuffle at the top of the Championship leaderboard with just 9 points separating the top three. Rich White now leads from Alastair and Mark Jacobs. Meanwhile Mark Harvey is closing in on James Howell’s lead in the road bike category as we enter the last few rounds.
Next week is the annual 2-Up on the Stour Provost 10 course, so choose your partner and come along for a more relaxed event! We then finish with three 6 milers on the Milton on Stour course and the annual double Bulbarrow Hill climb on 16th September. Please do check for any course changes beforehand though! Sign on will be at 6.30 pm and the first rider will start at 7.00 pm.
