Another week, another set of (very) last minute temporary traffic lights caused yet another course change and a delayed start, back to the Stour Provost course. Fortunately it was the warmest Wednesday evening of the year.
A number of fast times were posted this week with three riders going under 23 minutes, and another three riders within 20 seconds of that mark. All riders broke the 30 minute mark.
Shawn Gray (22:04) was quickest, ahead of Alastair Luxford (22:25) and Sam Thompson (22:48). Christina Wiejak again broke her course record (23:19) as fastest lady. Sam Spacey was fastest on a road bike (25:02) just ahead of Mark Harvey (25:21) and Gary Francis (25:44).
Next Wednesday is scheduled for the Gillingham 10 course but check the website and social media for confirmation later in the week. Sign on will be at 6.30 pm and the first rider will start at 7.00 pm. We are also currently short of helpers next week!
