A warm evening greeted the riders for the first 10 mile TT of the season on the Sturminster Newton course, and welcomed new members Gareth Harris and Louis Carkson, and new rider Kelvin Hatch. Shawn Gray shaved one second off his existing course record to take the win in 22:35, and Kelvin (24:06) pipped Mick St Leger (24:08) to second place. Nigel Brown was fastest non-aero rider (25:02) ahead of Louis (25:38).
Angie Barlow was again fastest lady (29:21) ahead of Kate Mustill (30:26).
Next week is a return to Gillingham for the 10 mile course. Sign on is at the later time of 6.30 pm (at Bubl Shop), and first rider off at 7.00 pm, so spread the word!
