A very hot and humid evening greeted the riders for Round 19 on the 10 mile Stour Provost course. Sam Thompson decided to give everyone else a chance by extending the route to incorporate Sturminster Newton. Ian Cardy posted the fastest time (23:10) with Mark Jacobs posting a PB to finish second (24.29). Nigel Brown was third (25:00) and fastest non-aero rider.
Angie Barlow was fastest lady rider, 31 seconds ahead of Angela Jamieson.
Adam Baker and Nigel Brown both improved their points tally, but the gap between them remains at 12 points. (555 points vs 543). Gary Francis and Vince Hounsome are now tied in third (532 points). Angie Barlow has increased her lead in the Ladies Championship. Adam retains the lead in the non-aero category.
Next week is again scheduled for the Stour Provost 10 mile course. Please note the earlier sign on at 6.00 pm, with first rider off at 6.30 pm.
