On a humid evening, 13 riders took to the start in Sturminster Newton. As last week, the roadworks by the start remained in place, immediately before our normal start. Shawn Gray was 4 seconds quicker than last week (23:04). Kelvin Hatch improved last week’s time by 24 seconds (23.42) to take second and Ian Cardy making his season debut was third (24.11). Nigel Brown was fastest non aero rider in fourth (25:50).
Angie Barlow was fastest lady rider.
Adam Baker (552 points) retains his lead in the Championship but Nigel Brown (540 pts) has taken over second place. Gary Francis (532) drops to third but is just 2 points ahead of Vince Hounsome. Angie Barlow (450) has taken over hte lead in the Ladies Championship ahead of Kate Mustill (438). Adam retains the lead in the non-aero category.
Next week is scheduled for the Stour Provost 10 mile course. Sign on again at 6.30 pm , with first rider off at 7.00 pm.
